Monday 4 December: 7.15pm in Preston Minster

Stephen Sartin presents:

Victorian Preston - The paintings of Edwin Robert Beattie

(02) Coloured reproduction postcard. Watercolour by Edwin Beattie (1).jpg

Although his works are usually taken as a representation of old Preston, Beattie often altered reality for the sake of composition. Despite this, the works give Preston an 'olde-worlde' charm and allow a glimpse of buildings long gone.
